Disneyland News Today :: Disney California Adventure :: An Exclusive Look At Buena Vista Street

Disneyland news today has got some interesting, albiet small, blueprints for Buena Vista Street. Lots of good details assuming they are correct in their assumptions. Interesting placement of the partners statue as well.

That statue on the blueprint looks exactly like the Partners statue. I hope they're not just making a copy for DCA.

Though I am with you and I hope it isn't a copy, It is on one of the maps labeled DCA's Partner's Statue...

I'm pretty sure the DCA Partners statue depicts a young Walt Disney arriving in Los Angeles with Mickey.

Maybe the Mickey will look more like the Mickey of "Steamboat Willie" times than the one at Disneyland?

That would be awesome if the Mickey they used was the black & white Steamboat Willie one. In fact, it fits perfectly. If they use any Mickey that's more modern, it'll be silly IMO.

Other than being shorter than Main Street, I think BVS will stack up pretty well!

You'd be surprised. Emporium to Coke Corner is about the same distance as the new entrance to Carthay Circle.

yeah, but the new entrance to carthay circle would be the equivalent of disneyland's gates to the castle.... a bit longer than emporium to coke corner. So it is shorter, but they seem to making smart use of the space they have.
