From what I understand...they will use the new turnstiles and then use the walkway behind Condor flats to enter near that Popcorn Cart.

Thats what I understood too. I was just curious if they were doing anything on the Guest Services side too. I'm also curious to know how they will sequence everything. I mean eventually the Condor entrance is goint to have to go under construction for the new facades on that side of BVS. I suppose BVS will mostly be done by then and they would begin to redirect everyone back through the center while they complete the right side entrance re-dress.

The Disney Parks Blog has a great little thing on the new turnstiles as well as a start date for the Golden Gate Bridge removal.

New Turnstiles Open at Disney California Adventure Park Today Disney Parks Blog

As Buena Vista Street continues to take shape at Disney California Adventure park, there are more exciting transformations that will be taking place. On Sunday, the Golden Gate Bridge, which guests now pass underneath when entering the park, will begin to make way for a re-creation of the historic Glendale-Hyperion Bridge. We’ll have more details on this project next week on the Disney Parks Blog, so be sure to check back!

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

Ok, thanks, so they will be used from now on.

Don't know yet if I like them, it looks good, but I think I need the street behind them to look better than the old entrance, which I prefer on this moment...

It's very unsettling to see such a classy entrance to DCA. And once that tacky bridge comes down...Lord. BVS is going to make a HUGE difference for this park.

I wonder if this entrance/ sign is the reason they changed Disney's California Adventure to be Disney California Adventure. How were they going to get the little apostrophy to hang in the middle of the air above the gates?

I think Disney is just getting rid of a grammar rule because it keeps the name DISNEY pure. Many non-English speakers probably see DISNEY'S and wonder. I also think the east coast usage of the word DISNEY when referencing the parks is also a part of this.

At first the missing apostrophe really annoyed me. Now I just see it as the evolution of American English. Many things we do in grammar are changing at a faster pace than in the past. Language serves people...as they say. Besides, just try to read English from 200 years ago and you will see letters pronounced completely differently than now. Never mind Middle English!
