I recall the imagineers referring to the street as "Disney Scale", but it looks to me like the buildings will certainly be larger than Main Street; the Cathay is full scale (and actually taller than Sleeping Beauty's Castle). I wouldn't be surprised if BVS has a lot more detail injected into it than DHS because, like you said, there is so much planning/research etc. put into each facade and interior. It has been a while since I have walked Hollywood Blvd in Florida. But as a comparison, DHS has a Carthay Circle as well, albeit much, much smaller and much less detailed.

Yes.... that's what got me to thinking about the scale on BVS. I'm really liking the variations of style on each building front. Mint posted a picture of the right side entrance framing going up that will create the facades near where the bathroom and lockers were. Also shows some new steel where it looks like Mortimer Market will extend out a little bit.

Al is reporting 3 entertainment shows for BVS, all sound promising. One includes the Newsies that is seen in concept art from BSC.

That will be pretty cool. I've wanted to see the talking Mickey in person.

BVS facades are looking nicer than what I expected. I thought it was basically a redress of existing walls but the more I see of the rebuild of the building elements makes me excited for what it will eventually look like. I can't wait to spend time here!

So it's not easy to tell from the recent construction pic of the circle/fountain area, but was there any pre-sidewalk installation of ground lighting? I thought one of the blue prints that surfaced about BVS made mention of some sort of ground lighting effects.
