lol. Actually, the non-functioning lights, I think, are a more important issue, at least for now. Not to mention that people are going to be looking up at a beautifully lit ferris wheel (a real showpiece for the pier itself), and probably noticing large sections of non-functioning lights, especially in the evening...rather than looking down at the ground and worrying about whether the foundation they're walking on next to the bay is wood or concrete.

How true.

I'm sure the kinks will be out soon. Are those lights always out?"Take What You Can, Give Nothin' Back!"- Captain Jack Sparrow

Disney probably doesn't even know where to begin with this new lighting system. It's probably out sourced and they'll need to call some one in to fix it.

I was on Mint's Blog, and I looked at the video of the lighting ceremony for CMs. The lighting appeared to be working properly, and was really cool!

I looked back at the movies we took on opening night and you can hardly see the outages, as the patterns flip through so fast. It is when they have pauses or someone takes stills, that you see outages. I wonder if it might be a programing problem and not the lights themselves.

The sunburst iis great, did not see any pics of the marquee. That is someone's job of the week: get pics of the marquee! Go!

I think it would be cool if they had the lights go with the Paradise Pier music. Its not all out victorian, its the disney magic every attraction has. PLus yesterday in line, Gustavs voice wasnt vary german, it sounded a lot like Geppeto.
