That's very possible. Also, the need for more projectors may have taken up the space where the boardwalk would have been.

I certainly hope so. Putting on some nice rockwork like what they're doing over in the WOC viewing area would both be nice and begin to spread around and connect the general theme of the entire area.
Thing is there's other areas of the pier where unthemed cement work seems to be ok for theming... so I worry that this may be the case here as well.
