    Thanks

Those Big Thunder moon shots (along with some others) are available in my Flickr photostream where you can download high-res versions. I would have linked the photos in the updates to their Flickr counterparts, but the Flickr photos didn't finish uploading until 4 am and I was too tired to go back in and edit the update with links.

    But here's the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/andycastro/

The photos should be available for everybody to download, but depending on Flickr's normal restrictions you may need to be a flickr user to download the high-res versions.

    Enjoy

It would look nice if there wasn't any scaffolding in front of it.

    I don't think it's permanent.

It looked great in person, that's for sure.

Whoa, Mickey's Fun Wheel is getting an X2 makeover from happy yellows to angry reds and blacks. Maybe there will be fire effects, an on-board soundtrack and an effects tunnel (that will never get built in the final design).

Regardless, the progress is looking amazing...but they're going to have to be on that red paint constantly if they want it to stay red - reds go pink real fast when the weather gets involved.

    The red matches TSMM roofing.

I think they should have painted it before they put the scaffolding up. I think it would have been easier.

Aren't they using the scaffolding to paint it?
Yes, our world has indeed become a world of motion. We have engineered marvels that take us swiftly over land and sea, through the air, and into space itself. And still bolder and better ideas are yet to come. Ideas that will fulfill our age old dream to be free. Free in mind. Free in spirit. Free to follow the distant star of our ancestors to a brighter tomorrow. - World of Motion (1982-1996)
