Who knows, they might keep the Mickey covered until the grand opening ceremony for the ride. That would be kind of cool if they had a big sheet that they set up to drop on command and reveal Mickey and the completed wheel. Anyway, I think the Mickey will be one of the very last things to get done. I would think they'll need to take down the scaffolding to get it in place, at least the high parts that would block getting the face into place, I don't see how else you'd do it.

I dont think there would be room for a crane to get the upper parts on, maybe the scalfolding will reach it. Im a little more concerned on why the sunburst for Screamin' isnt up yet.

I don't know, I think they should do some press for it and some sort of small event. They did a press release just about the new PP sign, I think they'd do something for a semi-new attraction. I also hope they do the sun graphics on Screamin' soon and don't remove that from the project, that would be really disappointing to leave that modern gold circle.

Awesome! That will be pretty cool to see, I hope we can get some Mattercan shots. I wonder how long it will be there, will they put up the Mickey in one night and be out before the morning?
