I was there for like 10 min on Friday (11th). True, it wasn't long enough to get the FULL gambit of music, but I had heard and experienced enough. I am glad that it is semi-successful though.

No, I was just curious what day you were there, the Sunshine Plaza show was canceled at the last minute on Friday. Saw it on Sunday, it's kinda cool, slightly different than what goes on in HPB.

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

Yeah, I noticed that the Sunshine Plaza wasn't going and remarked to my friends that that seemed strange. Then I thought I was just mis-informed...now I know otherwise. Do they use the bongo-type drums on the honeycomb structures?

Okay...went there again last night, and if it was possible, I like it even less now. I have never felt uncomfortable anywhere at the DLR until I stepped into that area. It was awful. I tried the Garlic Fries at the "Green Truck" and they were nothing special...especially for $5.

Nope not a joke. They also sell alcohol there too...and the music isn't...disney like.

Absolutely hated Glow Fest. By far the most un-Disney thing I've ever seen at the park...would have been much more at home at Six Flags. I remember the days of Videopolis and at least that was self contained. This was, as others have stated, much like a rave with teens dancing in the middle of the street, bars in the middle of the street...so completely non family friendly. Was completely annoyed and disappointed that Disney put this in the park.

If it's getting higher satisfaction ratings than World of Color (as I've seen on the net), they must be polling the teen crowd.

This "thing" can't be out of the park soon enough for me.

I'm a college student and went with other college kids and we had a blast. We were surrounded by the high school crowd, but there was a mix of adults in there as well either dancing or standing off to the side having a good time. It was a bit cheesy, but it's the kind of thing where you have to let go of everything and have a good time.

The Cast Members that work Glow Fest are wonderful. They get into the music and dance around. I expected to find grumpy CMs that have to listen to loud music all night and "babysit" the people dancing, but it was far from that. But maybe by the end of the summer they'll be sick of it. lol One CM led a conga line the entire time I was there. She never stopped moving. The neon dancers are fun. One had a dance off with a guest and some others taught us a dance routine.
Everybody’s got a laughing place. Trouble is, most folks won’t take the time to go look for it. And where it is for one, it mightn’t be for another.

I really like when they have the CMs and they lead all the little kids to teach them how to dance, its very cute.

The colors and energy seem to be very reminiscent of the early days of Pleasure Island. Maybe if this is successful enough they will decide to make a permanent addition to the resort that is reminiscent of PI.
