Other notes...
1st pic: What are those semi-human things atop the towers? They look like they stole the bird character from La Nouba.
2nd pic: Pogo is supposed to have DJ mixes for the party - note the scenes from Alice on one of the towers just behind the arch. And what is up with the puppet/stilt walker things and their crazy disco arms?

Is this a joke?
Concept/promotional art featuring images of extinct attractions almost 10 years old... with downright embarrasing photoshop jobs that a 1st year student could do better than...
Garish colors turning part of the park into an over the top wannabe high school prom... night club...
And 'music' that is... not... even... good.
So we're all supposed to be dancing and going nuts to spliced Disney movie sound clips playing over a club beat under the cover of blacklight and neon overloaded swaths of color...
I just can't believe this. What's topping it is this latest 'art' that just really reveals what kind of thought is going into this whole thing. When I go, I'll be sure to wear my hardhat while chilling against the Hollywood sign column... (what are they smoking????).Pura Vida

It's for real - the bizarre honeycomb structures and the rainbow colored backdrop under the sun are both already installed.

And apparently the music will make many of us think we can fly.

To answer your question about the human looking figure atop the towers and in front of the sun icon in the 1st pic...
It's obviously Michael Keaton dressed up as Beetlejuice riding atop Willem Dafoes goblin glider from Spiderman... Duh.Pura Vida

Considering the press about Glow Fest and how it's supposed to be "world dancers" I have a sneaking suspicion it's a really offensive interpretation of African tribal dancers and those girls infront of the sun icon are sort of bollywood dancers.

The original concept art that they released does not have the Bistro on it...

Also, looks like the rainbow stage in Sunshine plaza is for Glowfest and not just for the media event...

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

You also have to realize that this is not a "Disney" party per say...meaning that they hired an outside company to do all this...still not sure what to think about it yet...
I miss Animazement!!!

That explains a lot!
I didn't know that Disney wasn't throwing this together. I don't know whether to be relieved that this isn't 100% on Disney or to be horrified that they even considered the possibility of dolling out this "party" to an outside vendor of sorts (let alone actually doing it).
I will definitely await judgment until I see it in person.
