    I wouldn't assume that if entertainment happens on the cars that the show would actually be themed to "Newsies". I don't see anything about newsies in the concept, and I'm guessing that this is only an idea of possible themes etc.

    I don't think it technically matters about the NY being the true setting... CA especially Hollywood and Downtown LA had guys running all around the streets.
    Just as the MLB Team, The Brooklyn Dodgers became the LA Dodgers...
    So shall the Brooklyn Newsies become the LA Newsies...
    Elementary, really... Lol!

    In case anyone's interested, "Newsies" is playing on Showtime this month. I caught part of it this morning. It is on again on July 4th.
