    Pixar Play Parade's Ratatouille

Haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere, but the Ratatouille float, along with all the water, is back for the summer. And Colette is "in" the procession (at least sometimes).

SO glad it's back. I hate that it's a summer-only float. The parade feels so much shorter without it!

Can someone explain why it's a 'summer float'?

why is it not consistently in the parade?

    ^Budget cuts I presume?

Wish they could add a Wall•E, Up, & proper Cars float. Maybe a few extra characters in between from the shorts.

Both times I've seen the parade there's been no Ratatouille and, while fun, it seems very, very short.

It's just one of the contingency floats. When budgets are cut they have to make the parade cheaper to run so they cut Ratatoullie which presumably is the least popular film float (or perhaps most expensive with the bungee and stilt-walkers) featured in the parade. They did the same thing in Block Party Bash, they'd cut the Dim float from the very end since he was the least recognizable/popular character float in the parade.
