For the sake of argument, why bother redoing Tomorrowland? Aside from playing musical rocket jets and tearing out the People Mover tracks, why redo the entire land? Doesn't make sense or cents for that matter. Innoventions, Pizza Port, and Eo all could go in my mind, but that doesn't mean it will or needs to from a financial standpoint. As long as people click through the turnstiles, or sponsors pay for it, what is the incentive? Redoing Tomorrowland can't just be about fanboy dreams.

It'd be interesting to see how Shanghai's TRON ride goes... then perhaps there could be a use as everyone speculated with PM track and Innoventions as a show building. Thought i heard a Wall-E experience was heading to replace EO... I think TL is good to go though! It'd be cool to see sights turned to Frontierland after the Princess square thing or Fantasyland theater.

Lastly someone mentioned Hollywoodland needing some change in the next few years... Muppet Vision 2.0?!

Its actually kinda funny how Tomorrowlands worked out. We've had a pretty solid refresh of the land attraction wise starting with the opening of Buzz and then circling around with the reopening of Space Mountain->Nemo->EO->Star Tours II

They've really pushed up the appeal of this land attraction wise yet managed to not really create a fix for the external feel of the land. If anything Tomorrowland is more disjointed feeling then ever. Its visually the area of the park thats the least fun to walk through mostly cause the elements and color schemes clash so heavily.

Honestly though outside of musical jets and either keeping or destorying the track, what the land REALLY needs is a nice consistent paint job. Take the newest paint job on Star Tours and then run through the land painting in things that can compliment and add to what Star Tours has accomplished. ESPECIALLY paint/update the area around Space Mountain/EO/Rocket Reds which has been half heartedly treated something like three times now?

For whatever reason, Disneyland walkways are just jammed. I guess I am hoping they don't do anything to Disneyland in terms of an "E" ticket. Freshen up the park and keep it nice, but put the money into another gate. The crowds just need to be thinned. And Disneyland is already attraction heavy, compared to WDW Magic Kingdom, DLP, etc.

DCA can't soak up crowds as it is. And after Carsland opens, it will be a zoo too. Unless Disney can find a way to manage crowds better, please open up the queues once more, the magic is just not as good as it used to be. Maybe it is my age, but I feel Disneyland is being loved to death.
I was last in DCA back in 09. Has it really lost crowd soaking abilities that badly? I mean I guess I mostly visited durring its more empty periods in time but I figured the large paths ought to do well with the park.

Weather they do a third gate or just add more Etickets to both parks I'm fine.

My real desire might be to see long rumored but never done improvements. Such as the idea of balcony seating being built for Fantasmic (every little bit of extra seating counts in my view). And the mainstreet arcade idea. I'm not sure how this really COULD be implemented except perhaps on the Tomorrowland side but creating a wider but nicer looking path would benefit mainstreet well and they can direct traffic to the arcades when parades are running to make it easier to find seating on the main street area itself.

Does the Tron franchise have a future? If so, why not redo Soarin' over California with a Tron theme? At least for as long as they're creating new material for Tron. Maybe after that they can go back to Soarin' or do something totally different.

Why? Soarin' over California is one of the best attractions in the park, why does it need a redo? And what does Tron have to do with California?! It's interesting to see if Tron still makes it into Shanghai Disneyland...

Not to mention the Little Mermaid.

What about maybe re working the whole west side of the pier, tearing down the Jumpin Jellies, Zypher, Goofy's Sky School and maybe even rework the redwood area to all tie together. Keep the idea of the redwood area as a place where kids can run, play and exlpore (as well as earn their Wilderness Explorers badges) but work on bringing in some taller trees (though those at the Grand might not be so fond of this idea) and put a ropes course type thing up above? The area in the back corner could be turned into something like Crush's Coaster from Disneyland Paris. I wouldnt want to get rid of two rides kids can do and not do anything to replace it though so maybe a beachy play area or a smaller kids ride could go over there, maybe something with a story of goofy learning to surf (if the beach thing was what they wanted to accentuate or something related to Donald...). The corn dog castle and souviner shop could be removed and this would be where the ropes course could end up or if that isnt logistically possible or what was done, could be turned into space for something else.
