Tokyo Disneyland does have a Railroad inside the park, however it does not go around the perimeter of the park. It loads over the Jungle Cruise, goes around the jungle Cruise perimeter, behind BTMR, then around the perimeter of Rivers of America, passing by Splash Mountain, then again turning around the back side of Big Thunder and then going indoors for a huge Primeval Scene similar to the one found at DL, then arriving back at the Jungle Cruise building, same spot where guests embark and disembark. There are no stops along the way.... so it is a bonafide ride around the eastern side of TDL and the whole ride lasts about 10 minutes.Originally Posted by mousa

Re: Disney Hong Kong
You're right, I take that back. But Tokyo Disney railroad is only confined in Western and Adventureland unlike Disneyland in California where each land had its own station.

Re: Disney Hong Kong
I kind of agree that it's better to have fewer but better executed attractions and make the rest of the park of higher quality so as to lay good foundations for future expansion. This is part of the reason I much prefer Animal Kingdom to DCA.

There's nothing like Splash, Indy, Haunted Mansion or Pirates which are the sorts of attractions which really set Disney apart. Instead it's mainly the smaller dark rides and decorated standards like the carousel and tea cups. If it's packaged together as a nice enough experience then maybe it won't matter, but I think they'll have to start construction on a huge new attraction almost as soon as the park opens.
