June 17, 2008: Grand Opening Mania! Toy Story Midway Mania officially opens!


The Honda Summer Adventure has begun and they're handing out "Adventure Roadmaps" at the Mickey and Friends parking lot to enter to win a Honda Pilot. The questions are rather easy. You can also get a form at the actual car in the Esplanade or enter online without actually visiting the Resort. The questions are all quite obvious except for the Honda related one. There's a bunch of stuff on top of the car but the official correct answer is "Tent." To enter online, go to http://www.disney.com/pilotadventuresweeps

The West Info booth was blocked by this Midway Stand thing... there was nobody or nothing going on when we got to the Resort at 8am and there was nothing going on on it when we left the Resort at 4PM so I don't know what exactly it's purpose was.




It had these three poster signs on them. I'd assume they had these games available at some point but there was no evidence of that.




A sign on the booth tells people to keep away.

Some stand-up ads were advertising Toy Story Midway Mania (TSMM) as well as the Honda campaign.

When the PPP cast appeared behind the bullseye I thought it was the funniest thing ever but so great at the same time.
