    Atlantis

    We used our DVC points to go to Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas.
    WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!!
    It was pricey but it made Sea World look like a roadside attraction.
    Everyone should go once!!

    I watched the show on the development and construction of Atlantis on the Travel Channel last week. It truly looks like an impressive resort. They sure didn't cut any corners on it, from what I saw on the program.

    I felt Atlantis was over-priced and over-rated. As long as you stay on the island where Atlantis is, you're ok, but if you look over at Nassau, you realize what a true dump of an area you're in.

    I agree with you Cinder. Nassau was our last port on a Royal Caribbean cruise we took this summer. And the excursion we took was a tour of Atlantis. Sure, it was big, and it was nice. But it definitely seems overpriced, and I wasn't totally blown away by it. I don't want to stay some place where I can't leave the hotel for fear of being in a bad area. It was no different than any hotel in Vegas
