You should take the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour.

on Disney's website they have an area devoted to the family history, pictures, etc.

Walt -The man behind the Myth

You should see this movie...Walt Disney- The Man behind the Myth..
It tells of Walt's upbringing and family and follows through to the building of Disneyland. I really enjoyed it and all the other "special features" on the DVD. I think you'll love it, I know I do..

There was just a movie produced by Walt Miller (Walt's grandson) It was aired on ABC, and it's for sale at the parks as well. I can't recall the name, but the box has a B&W picture of Walt, and he's touching a globe. There was also a book published along with the movie. I also HIGHLY recomend two books by Bob Thomas, one is "Walt Disney: An American Original", and the other is "Building A Company: Roy O. Disney and the Creation of an Entertainment Empire". Both books speak in length about the parks as well.

edit: Thanks, Outlaw8, for the name.

I have both Mouse Tales and the video and both are very good. Mouse Tales is strictly DL while the video talks about Walts whole life and career.

I bought a cd a while back called "Walt Disney--An Intimate History Of The Man And His Magic". It is sort of an interactive cd that takes you through different aspects of Walt's life as well as the eary days of his animation and a little about the parks. It also has alot of info on his other family members. It is hosted by one of his daughters.

    Re: Walt Disney

Disney's World by Leonard Mosley is the best book I have ever read. It goes through absolutely every aspect of Walt’s life... an awesome book. I actually was crying when Walt died in the book. It’s written like his life story, not just a biography.fficeffice" />>>
