Hey ya'll..not sure if anyone remembers me being it's been a billion and one years since I posted..but..hi anyway!
Well, let me get to the point of this message..I was out on Star Tours this past trip..and I saw something that looked kind of promising. Now I don't want to start a rampant rumor here, but I think it's definetly worth pointing out..IF what I saw was the real deal..
Here's what happened:
Got in our shuttle..at the last minute I suppose we got a guest in..I didn't notice till the ride was over..but hiding in the farthest left corner in the very back row, dressed in a business suit and baseball cap was a man who looked JUST LIKE Steven Speilberg! As soon as the ride was over he took off in a hurry..
Perhaps I was seeing things, but I know it's been a rumor for a long time about Star Tours getting a face lift..and I know Lucas and Speilberg are good friends in the feild..pretty sure they worked on Star Wars together in the past. The man fit the description of an 'incognito' guest..I didn't get the impression that it was a causaul guest by the time of day and by the actions...
Well, thats all I got to say. Sorry about the long post. It is promising though..if that was infact him.

Re: Sighting on Star Tours
Or maybe Speilberg was just wanting to ride Star Tours?
Nothing more, nothing less.

Re: Sighting on Star Tours
Something tells me that even if Speilberg was going incognito he'd still have a CM escorting him around the park so he could get a few extra perks that the normal folks don't get. Even if he'd just showed up for that one ride, I doubt he'd go unannounced and unescorted by someone. But I suppose it could have been him...maybe.

Re: Sighting on Star Tours
I doubt Spielberg can work on a ride for Disney when he is a partner with Dreamworks. That sounds like a conflict there. Now if you had seen Lucas that would be different. Bring on a change!

Re: Sighting on Star Tours
Spielberg has done nothing with the Star Wars films other than being shown rough cuts of the movies by Lucas to get his feedback.
If he was riding Star Tours, it was probably because he likes riding Star Tours.Just the stupid ramblings of a drunkard.

Re: Sighting on Star Tours
Well, I saw a speilburg look-a-like on a FOX TV special, so it could have been the look-a-like!

Re: Sighting on Star Tours
Maybe he's a sado-masochist?
Anyway, like someone else said, Spielberg's one of the Big Three that comprise Dreamworks, a company that as of late has primarily sold ride concepts to Universal parks. Maybe it was him, maybe not. I know that if I looked like the guy I'd certainly wreak some havoc by running around acting like I was him

Eisner has visited IOA and Universal.....to say Owners of another company cant check out a measly theme park is hogwash.
Yes, I said hogwash.

Re: Re: Sighting on Star Tours
This can be true, but also a lot of times the GR CM that escorts the celebs dont usually ride the ride. They wait at the exit for their guests. At least from my limited experience....
