The tail will be very important there because it would be the only rear counter balance and that is a tail's main purpose. The big challenge is simply to get the thing to stand safely on one leg even when a guest might bump into it. I think the cart will remain for quite awhile just because of the liability of having a giant AA falling on some guest standing next to it.

That could be, or maybe it could be um, it couldn't be the big disks, is it maybe some sort wait....

yeah, that would be bad to have hydraulic fluid leak all over somebody, or even worse howevermuch it weighs, prolly like 1000 or 2000 lbs.

Yes! Have Lucky sell Lucky T-Shirts, mugs, pins and beach towels right from his own cart! A self-contained merchandising machine!

Like someone else mentioned, in years ahead, we may be seeing these in ALL Disney parks, replacing the costumed human characters. The limitations of the human anatomy, and trying to fit a costume around it, would no longer apply.

Re: DCA animatronic dinosaur [Lucky]
^That will change with time, some day the things will be able to respond automatically to something without anyone controling it. Its like those robot dog toys that can learn stuff and do certain things when touched or spoken to. This will be an exciting area of technology for WDI.

Re: DCA animatronic dinosaur [Lucky]
^ yeah, but I don't think such technology is possible right now, but when I say right now, I mean, right now, meaning that it is a possibility in the future, then again, with those dogs, it has to be superquiet in the room, and at DCA you know there is going to be some nut, walkin around and he starts yellin, then the AA will go nuts.

Or taking flash pictures when they aren't supposed to so the Itchy and Scratchy AAs turn into homicidal killing machines.

Re: DCA animatronic dinosaur [Lucky]
I remember Marty Skylar said that the dinosaur would interact with guests by stealing their hat or something. Does Lucky's mouth move for him to do this?
