Will there be a HMH special event the day it opens or did they decide to not have one this year?

Re: Guide to Haunted Mansion Holiday
First off the story line is simply this: jack comes to the mansion and decorates it for his version of Christmas. That seems like something Jack would do now doesn't it? and also they will be having a private event on October 2nd, I live in so cal so you can bet I'll be there on the 3rd to check it out.
In a million years they'll find me only dust, and a plaque...that reads "Here lies poor old Jack".
Who's next on my list? Ah, little Harry and Jordan. Won't they be surprised?
Happy Holidays Everyone! Eeeeeeee he he heeeeeeeeee!

The picture of the "hearse" is referred to as "hurst". Is that a typo?

Re: Guide to Haunted Mansion Holiday
I was wondering...... will there be a different speil this year with the addition of Oogie Boogie? Also, will the be a sub-plot this year that is Jack vs. Oogie?

Haunted Mansion Holiday
Just got back from Disneyland and the Haunted Mansion Holiday. It was awesome as usual and we managed to find all of Oogies hidden clues. We even found an additional Oogie lurking at a near bye popcorn cart. It was nice to see the west side filled with people again even if it was mainly for the opening. Have a great weekend everyone!
