Wow another slow holiday, do I smell the return of 2 park annual passes in the near future?
I guess Spring Break will be the next test, but we can't blame it on rain forever, if Spring Break week does not get the crowds back, then maybe just maybe Disney will have to realize that they need to make improvements to the park and quick.

I think they need to sell hopper passes to the general public instead of just resort guests. The only way to really promote the park and get it filled is to let people see it. I also hope the press doesn't do one of their "It will be totally crowded - don't come" routines for the holidays. Well, as long as there is a parking place we are THERE.

Personally I think Disney should arrange for field trips from all the schools around the LA area immediately for DCA only maybe charge $5 per child for a two hour or so trip to drum up positive publicity, they really need it.

I like eggid's idea. A park hopper pass could be like $50 or so, a bit more than a one pass park but not a lot more. Cause you really won't see much of it if you try to do both parks in the same day anyway.
And bring back annual pass upgrades, even if the price goes up from what they were before.
I am not going to be putting down $43 to see a park I've already seen 7 times. Even though I do love the park.Darren

The "kids" idea - great, I agree about Orange Co. first though. Then quickly the LA kids but the key is: 1. Make sure Mickey and the gang is there to meet them. 2. Make is a news story. Press passes so they can follow the kids around and take picture of the "joy" the Mouse is bringing to the students of CA. 3. Pump the History of CA. as a selling point. (we can entertain and educate at the same time) 4.
test the kids on what they learned and get federal $ for educating - that would make up for the short fall in attendance.

My geographical foot is in my mouth, I forget which county DL is in, LOL, and I used to live in Long Beach many many years ago, Yes Disney needs to sooth some balm in the public relations area, if they could make it a "historical" field trip adventure forthe grade school classes then hopefully someone will get off there doofus and get the idea going.

but what i don't like bout that idea is that some kids don't really care for learning while u go to a field trip.i know some expect it to be like six flags.then they won't like it because they expected more "thrilling" rides(i am not sayin they don't have thrilling rides..i love DCA)but all i know is that i learned more stuff bout cali then before.that is a great idea!!!!

AT WDW they have tons of field trips. FOr example, study science at EPCOT, physics at MK, zoology at AK, or cinematography at MGM. They are called the YES (Youth Education Series) They look awesome and I wish DL and DCA would start some of their own.
