Wink More changes to Steps In Time

    Well,

Our visit last Friday to DCA we decided to visit Steps In Time. After waiting for orchestra to fill up, we waited in line for Mezzaine.

During the show we noticed differeny choregraphy, the Fairy GodMother no longer comes from flying in...she walks in now, and now during the "Go the Distance" number...we have lip syncers doing back-up vocals.

We will video tape this Friday and bring you the changes once again.

If you have seen Steps In Time since the recent changes...what do you think?

Do you think any of these new changes makes you want to come back and watch the show?

    Cool

Having the godmother walk in instead of fly doesn't sound like an improvement. Will watch for your vid to see.

Sounds like the budget for this show is being cut s l o w l y but surely.

Maybe they should just can it and try something new.

Hey Mike, thanks for the news! It's good to see they are tweaking it but I kind of agree, it sounds like they are tweaking it even worse.

Nobody's gripe was that the fairy godmother flew in, LOL and lip syncers? Ugghhh!

They should bring back the original or just forget it! And whatever they do don't ask Eisner what he thinks ever ever again.

    Cool

Well.... I don't like the lip synchers.... that does bug me personally. But getting rid of the flying is okay.... I actually kinda like the way Vera enters now as opposed to the flying. The flying entry just seemed a little fragmented with the screen... it just never worked for me. Overall, the changes aren't that huge of a deal... and I think the show is fine... it's not a major change...

Yeah, bring back the original. That was much better. Do away with the story.

With the flying, it kinda distracts from the show when you can see the fairy godmother being lowered offstage and taking her harness off.
So what should replace me huh?

    Anything but Goofy PLEASE!
