    Exclamation Big Crowds at DCA

WOW! on Friday DCA was really crowded, Grizzly River Run had a 2 hour line, it was kinda hot so i guess thats why, the line was backed up all the way to the Entrence of Grizzly Peak Recreation Area and leaving Condor Flats. California Screamin' got to an hour and 30 minutes and soarin was also up to an hour. We even waited 45 min for Superstar Limo. But i did notice that the crowds died down in the evening so DCA is still loosing peoples interest, at night it there were lines only 5 min long, this is still a problem.
In a world of creativity there's no end to the possibilities.

    Thumbs up

That's great! Maybe now the attendance will start to rise consistently. I really do hope that the park can draw more people, it's a great place. If the people show up, then new rides go up. Hopefully. Too bad about the park loosing patrons at night, they should really come up with a kick butt nighttime show over the lagoon. That would hold people's interest. Anyways, thanks for the update! Peace.

That's great i really hope it continues like this. I wonder if they will do a nighttime show on the lagoon soon. Although i find it very dificult since there are three major attraction that are near or on the water and would have to be closed while the show is going on. California, ornagestinger, sun wheel not to mention Zephyr and jumpinb jelly. I think the solution for that would be to have the show within the last half hour of closing time or even at closing time. Hey if the park closes at nine have the show be the finally to a great California Beach Sunset.
people would sit around the lagoon and watch the show. Then they could have vendors Venice Beach style entertain in the area until crowds deminish.

    Cool

The pier area is so beautiful at night. I don't see why more people don't stay. I would be open to a show on the water.

The very best time to be at DCA is after dark with all the lights. I think the place takes on a more exciting atmosphere. If you want a good place to see the fireworks from DL go to the San Francisco area and watch them over the mill wheel. Something special on the water at night would be nice too, but just the lights on the water is enough to keep me happy.
As long as there is a parking place, we are THERE!

Pumping the Firework music in DCA while they go off in DL would help a bit...I still find it odd that Disneyland doesn't pump it throughout the entire park. It's odd walking behind Thunder Mountain where they're going off and hearing just the sounds of the shells exploding out of the launches. Then again...this is really cool too, but you can't hear the music for the show between blasts because it isn't broadcast there. Maybe if DCA had the music going with the fireworks, people would think less about what they're missing and enjoy the show from the new park. I mean really, they aren't too far away where you need to be in Disneyland to view them, just ask all of the people that turn and watch them from DCA. Give them music it's easy and it's cool!

This is strange. In Disneyland Paris you can hear the fireworks music from every corner of the park. I love it when I just came out of BTM and then the fireworks start!
