Hey everyone.... Just a quick question... What is the Boulder made of, and how does it stop while rolling?
My cousin had told me it is a hologram sort of thing projected onto the screen, but I can't figure it out, and I don't think its the screen thing... I know its kinda messing with the "Magic" of the park.. but I really wanna know! haha![]()

Re: Indiana Jones Adventure Boulder!
well i can tell you it is on a string.
Seth Cohen: It was a liitle weird. And not like kinky weird, more like akward. But hey, you know what? It was my first time, she's a more experienced woman, that's to be expected. But I did make some faces in the middle that I wish I could take back but I can't and there was also a sort of whiny noise that came out at the end that probaly wasn't my finest hour and...I sucked so bad! I was like a fish flopping around on dry land. I was Nemo and I just wanted to go home.

Re: Indiana Jones Adventure Boulder!
Well, from what I know the boulder never stops rolling, it just stops moving. What I want to know is how close you actually get to it. =P

Re: Indiana Jones Adventure Boulder!
I thought I remember hearing once that the boulder actually moves closer to you. It stays in the same spot, constantly turning, and the walls around you move, making it look as if the boulder is getting closer. I could be wrong though.

Re: Indiana Jones Adventure Boulder!
The boulder is always rolling in position. The easiest way to describe it is that it is on a cart that roles a few feet lower, making it look as if the boulder was rolling down. The jeep drops down under it (the steepest part of the ride) and the boulder gets pulled right back up. Also, the jeeps never role backward, its just the walls moving forward, but I think most people know that. I think I have that mostly right. I was stuck on Inday once right at the boulder with the lights on so we got to see the boulder go back and fourth, rolling continuously.

Re: Indiana Jones Adventure Boulder!
I thought it was always something like a motor pulling a string back and then letting it go slowly. As seen in my crude drawing.
