Only ride I was ever Evaced on was ET at Universal -may it rest in the undying realms of yesterland- .. unfortunitly it was at the very TAIL end of the ride when ET waves you off and says goodbye. Ya know, I hope mummy is gonna be somethin good to take ET out. Beh.. anyway on topic..

I guess it's obvious how much we go to the parks wishing to be evac'd---I don't think the thougth has ever crossed most people's minds!

I've been on Indy many times, and it is much more interesting to see the BTS. Even if I'd never been on it, I'd like to be evac'd, because I can always go on it again. It's fun to see what you shouldn't be seeing.

I was fortunate enough to be caught on Indy when the ride broke down.

Yesterday evening, (Monday 4/5/04) Indy closed early around 11:00pm due to one of the vehicles having a sizeable Hydraulic Fluid Leak. The entire ride was evacuated and the ride did not reopen for the rest of the night.

One of the castmembers noticed a sizeable puddle of fluid on the track just after dispatching a vehicle into the temple. Because the vehicle had already been dispatched, they decided to try to let the vehicle go around the entire run before pulling it off the track. Our vehicle was the first vehicle following the problem car and there was a minor trail of fluid coming from the vehicle on the left size of the bar throughout the ride. At places where the vehicle was stopped for an extra period of the time, the leak turned into a puddle. This was extremely evident at the boulder and final Indy scene.

Just as we passed the final Indy and were making our way to the East Unload Station behind the existing car in the station our vehicle stopped and a few seconds later the lights came on with the standard "Sallah" breakdown announcement. The ride was completely evacuated with guests coming out past the final Indy on the left side of the tracks. One guest even had a video camera to document their special exclusive walkout. Our vehicle had to be unloaded on the right hand side because our vehicle was just slightly over the hydraulic fluid leak on the left tracks where they split so we ended up walking to the east unload area and exiting up the stairs.

Because our vehicle was just about at the unload area we were the final vehicle to be evacuated and were all given re-ride tickets for another attraction of our choice that night.

I haven't had the opportunity to be evacuated while in the middle of the attraction but am always keeping my fingers crossed.

The lava effect in the main area of the building is wonderful but the Gate of Doom fog effect wasn't working as well as it had been on Saturday. Hopefully over time the problems and bugs will be fixed and the attraction will return to its former glory days.

Yeah they sucked. I was looking at them today and I could not believe how bad they were. I have other ones that are much better (Not of this). But I realize now I was moving when I took most of the pictures... Damn I suck :P

I got evacuated off POTC when I went in January. We got stuck right at the battle/fort scene. We sat there for several minutes (25+) and then they turned on the lights. We got to take a good look at everything inside. The CM's were good about talking with us via the PA. We were actually stuck in the main water area. We couldn't just get up and walk around.

They finally had to put on some waist high wadders (sp?) and push us back to a load area. I have some photos with the lights on and will try and post them if you like.

Yesterday, I was almost on Indiana Jones at about 8:45 am. We were in the same spot for about ten minutes. Then, guests started walking by us and told us that they had been evacuated. One guest even commented on how he stood next to the AA Indiana Jones and took a picture. I was pissed off, and left without a free fastpass. The CM's told us that we could wait until it would start again(which would be a while), or we could just leave wihtout a free fastpass. I am mad and worried that the ride is breaking down so often, considering that it was closed for quite a few months
