Re: Whatever Happened to Lucky the Dinosaur?
I like the idea of animatronic sea lions but you could probably do that with any animatronic. Since lucky needed the cart for balance couldn't they just build a dinosaur that walks on all fours.

Re: Whatever Happened to Lucky the Dinosaur?
well if what's been posted before is true then no an animatronic that walks on all fours would be a completely different enginnering venture and it's cordiantion would take a long time to develope

That movie was freaky. Scared the hell out of me.

Re: Whatever Happened to Lucky the Dinosaur?
That is true. There really is no graceful way for a park to move something that is already in the middle of their midways. They did tell everyone it was time for Lucky to take a nap. And they did try to cover him up with this tarp thing they had. But the wind was blowing so much that you easily see under and there just wasn't enough tarp to go around. Even if there had been, it probably would have looked even more strange seeing a sheet wrapped dino gliding backwards down the street.

I am sure future revisions to this idea will be much more reliable and less prone to spoiling the magic. It's clear that they are on to something though. Lucky never failed to generate a crowd. And when he appeared with Jennifer Gardner it was hard to tell who was more popular! They were both signing autographs.

Re: Whatever Happened to Lucky the Dinosaur?
Its a pretty neat idea to have these animatronics walking around signing autographs and interacting with guest! Hopefully they can bring one to DLR thats not a dinosaur.
