    Whatever Happened to Lucky the Dinosaur?

    Did Lucky ever make it to Animal Kingdom? Are they working on any more of this type of animatronic, or is the project dead?

    I think it went to animal kingdom, last I heard about it. I think I saw a picture of it there.

    lucky the dinosaur is the first of what WDI calls "the next generation of animatronics." he's totally self contained (not plugged into anything), can walk around, and has some integrated intelligence to allow him to sign autograph books, etc. they debuted him in HPB at DCA a few months ago, there's a vid on disneyland.com. I can only assume michael's hint is saying that they're making 2 more.

    The project definitely isn't dead. Don't know when Lucky's expected to "give birth" but it is getting the best pre-natal care from WDI.
