Indy was distributed by Paramount, but LucasFilm has the rights to the movie or at least character. Disney had done Star Tours and had a good relationship with George Lucas by the time the Indy rides & shows came out.

Extremely unlikely. Warner Brothers has the movie/merchandising rights to Harry Potter. And WB characters appear at other theme parks.
Plus J.K. Rowling is keeping pretty tight control on Harry's exposure. She isn't allowing very many merchandising opportunities."You sure have made a fool of yourself this time." Brer Fox

Star wars was released by 20th ccentury and Disney had or still has a contract for rights to 20th century chracters. That is why they used alien at MGM. Even alien encounter was first made with the alien charcter but was later found that it was to scary for a disneyland park. But Harry potter would make a good attraction. although i believe six flags has the rights to warner characters although warners does not own the six flags themes

20th Century may have released Star Wars, but they had no other rights to the movie beyond the distribution. All other rights were all kept by George Lucas, for obvious reasons.

Here's the heartbreaker: The Harry Potter idea was shopped to Disney first. Disney obviously passed and Warner snatched it up.
