    Alcatraz ride in DCA?

    What are youre thoughts on DCA adding a ride Based on the INfamous island in the San Francisco bay. What kinda ride would it be?

    My idea for an Alcatraz ride was a Themed Dark ride/ Water coaster.
    ENTER on a car with inverted track, look at some scenes of cells While hearing the Narator on the PERSONAL MUSIC System (that Works) Telling about the notorious criminals of alcatraz prison. The climax you are trying to escape with some inmates, the scenes are left as you acelerate into the coaster portion and in the Dramatic conclusion REAL CMs in Cop uniforms arive in boats to "pick up" the escapees as the coaster does a helix your head almost touches the water of Paradise Bay as you are cuffed and leave. What do you think???

    "The Rock" was a Hollywood Pictures production, so Disney would have to sue themselves.

    My thoughts on the idea:

    Right now, I think the thing that DCA needs most is a Pirates style show ride, not another thrill ride.


    Maybe somewhere down the road when the have a more developed San Francisco area, it could be a good addition. Although, I'm not really sure that a prison break themed ride really fits into DCA.

    If it were put in, it would be a great ride. The possibilities are endless. However, if it anything more than a history type ride, it wouldn't really fit the "Disney Image." Even a history ride may be pushing it a little.

    I don't see how disney could make a ride based on the penal system and still have a family orinated attraction.

    Well, if the story for the ride was "shoplifting and you: what happens to you when you try to steal something from Disney", then it would have that Disney feel.
