Third Theme Park

There has been a lot of talk lately about the Disneyland Resorts Third Theme Park. I remember a while back when the information was first released about a possible third theme park. There hasn't been any official information. Now, I don't know how much the bus drivers know at the Anaheim Resort, but one of them said that they will be building a Water Park. Has any body else heard any information about this new area to the resort?

It sounds like they want to fix everything in the current resort before they start adding more parks. Which makes complete sense, IMO. I'd rather have 2 really great parks than a great park and 2 okay parks.......

i heard the same thing when i was there in december got the water park speel and thrid real park, they dont know anything cause its not happing anytime soon! its been said by disney and many news articles and about a million online places

A water park is a waste of money.I'd rather see that money either go to exsisting dlr parks or a new theme park similar to tds or epcot.

Circa 2001 from the O. C. Register: Disney Chairman Michael Eisner recently said plans for the third park in Anaheim, already in the permitting process, are vague. Alluding to the crop now being grown on the site, Eisner said in a recent teleconference with shareholders that strawberries will grow on the land for the time being. "He was trying to say, in thinking out loud ... that we wouldn't be putting a lot of capital into developing another theme park," Disney Chief Financial Officer Thomas Staggs said in an interview. "Since those are already strawberry fields, you can expect we'll still be eating strawberries from those fields next year."
