First of all, I have never eaten at that Scifi resturant at DCA. I was wondering if it's like the one at WDW? Their Sci Fi resturant was so wonderful! I loved it there. All the tables were cars and they were all facing forward towards the big screen which was playing old sci fi B flicks. It really looked like you were outside at night at the drive in. Great atmosphere and theme.
Anyway, I have walked by the one at DCA a few times and it is always closed. Are they taking it out? Was it as cool as the WDW one?

There was NEVER a SciFi Dine In at DCA. Perhaps you mean "Hollywood & Dine" which was nothing like it. They SHOULD put "SciFi" in its place, but that whole rear corner of HPB is steeped in rumors, who knows what will happen. I doubt even Disney knows.

I'm not sure what it's called but there is a sci fi looking monster sitting in a car outside the restuarant.

That was just an outdoor eating area made to look like an old diner. It wasn't a restraunt in itself.

Yea, that's Hollywood and Dine. Trust me, the alien out front is the best part about it. It was never busy, and now it's just used for private parties.......

Well then that entire back area of DCA is like a ghost town then. There is nothing there to do or see or ride.

^That is the Coca-Cola display (The car)

This location has been turned over for use in private events, as you can see in the photo, they were setting up for one on Sunday.
But Hollywood and Dine is not the only closed restaurant by far in DCA....Check out my photos at http://darkbeer.smugmug.com
