Just heard on the 6pm KNBC that there was another accident on Thunder Mountain around 5:30pm tonight. Apparently, two cars "bumped" each other and an 11 year old boy suffered minor neck injuries. No other details released at this time.

Re: Breaking News - Another Accident on Thunder Mountain Today
Good Lord. Even if it is a minor accident, the last thing this ride needs is yet another incident. I was there a few weeks ago and an e-stop occured and they emptied the whole queue. Which seems par for the course. I see it down on almost every visit and I am there fairly often. I find it odd that this much downtime is acceptable to TDA.
I've said it before and I will say it yet again. This ride needs a new computer controller. I'm wondering if the other BTMR rides go down that often and have these kinds of incidents and hour-long/queue-clearing resets. Does anyone know?

Re: Breaking News - Another Accident on Thunder Mountain Today
When I came to the Mouseinfo Homepage and saw the "Another Big Thunder Accident" I imidiatly felt terrible. I was glad to hear no one was seriously injured, and felt a little better. But why are all of these acidents happaning on the same attraction? Big Thunder never had accidents before? did they? I just hope whatever it is, that its cleared.

Kinda like Roller Coaster Tycoon, once you have one accident your sure to have many more. Weird!
