I think I am going to vomit if I hear "mundane" or "generic" from WrongWay again. But, I guess that is what WrongWay thinks of DCA, and everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
"I can't believe some people can't get over the fact that DCA isn't Disneyland. "
Exactly! That is the problem!
"Disney's Ultimate Escape."
That sounds like some small spa in a jungle where all those stressed business people go when they've yelled at one too many employees.
And for those people on here like woody or WrongWay, it is okay to dislike DCA, you have your own opinions. But, when someone gives you ideas to help improve the park, you say it is "boring" and "dull" or "dry". In fact, if it has anything to do with the theme, California, (I am not sure you guys really get the theme, but...) you guys reject it! Please be more considerate of other people's ideas. I'll tell you what's really "boring" and "dull", reading the words "mundane" and "generic" in every single post you guys make.![]()
However, you guys do have your own opinions, which is fine, but just be considerate to other people's ideas and thoughts on DCA. Maybe I, too, will become more accepting of your opinions if you become more understanding of others.![]()

Folks, let's discuss the topic here, and not each other. If there is a message you wish to convey to other members, do it via PM, instead of out here on the boards.

The California theme is generic because I see it everyday.
The park needs to be improved with new and exciting stuff. I think Tokyo DisneySeas is the new standard of a high quality Disney attraction. Its already designed. Let's use the blueprints and adapt it in DCA.

Re: DCA's 5 year plan?
Disney theme parks don't have to be Dinseyland. They just need stuff that people really want to see and do, but can't easily see and do outside of a theme park.

A generic amusement park.
I don't want another Disneyland. I want another park filled with really cool things to see and do.
