I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

I'm not sure it had anything to do with the discussion. Perhaps just another mindless dig at California Adventure?

Re: Would you like a Zorro Ride to Replace Millionaire/SSL
I think a Zoro attraction or land at DCA would be a flop.
I don't think they should select things that "enhance" the california theme. That is putting the cart before the horse. The themes should be used to enhance the attractions. Attractions should not be used to save a theme.
I think they should select additions that people will think.... "WOW, that is SOOOOO COOOLLL..... I WANN'A DO THAT!!!!" A Zoro ride is not that. Zoro tv show was a semi-hit 50 years ago, and the movie 7 years ago was "engh".
Once they've come up with an attraction idea that people REALLY want to do, THEN they should select a theme that enhances the attraction even more.

Re: Would you like a Zorro Ride to Replace Millionaire/SSL
oh I dont think the success of the show or movie really matters, heck Song of the South was no huge hit, especially in 1989 when they made Splash Mountain but that ride has become one of DLs most popular rides.I think they should select additions that people will think.... "WOW, that is SOOOOO COOOLLL..... I WANN'A DO THAT!!!!" A Zoro ride is not that. Zoro tv show was a semi-hit 50 years ago, and the movie 7 years ago was "engh".
Waterworld was arguablly one of the biggest flops in Hollywood history yet the stage show at Universal has done very very well for itself.
also,Pooh is very vyer very popular yet the ride at DL really is not.
so really the popularity of the show or movie doesnt matter,I think Zorro is a cultural icon, and I think it would be well received at DCA,especially if the ride was kick butt!
