Re: Disney Gallery/Club 33
My buddy left his job at Universal and fled in exile as a neanderthal to live in the Cayman Islands....He's cut himself off from all technology. He sends his stories in Aramaic on crayon written 3x5 cards sent by pigeon.

Re: Disney Gallery/Club 33
its in the thousands for the membership plus an annual fee over 1000, plus park fees and you still have to pay for food if I recall???
I would imagine most of the members are corporations...DCA 1/2 the park, Same low price....

I'm not sure what type of membership is more common, however, I do know that my club contact is an individual member and not under a corporate membership.

Mainly the lure of something "exclusive". I also think the juxtaposition of a place like CLub 33 in the middle of a theme park adds to its charm and draw.

Re: Disney Gallery/Club 33
gettin in to club 33 id kinda cool but the mass amount of cash u have to pay isnt. what scares me is that if it costs so much just to get in i wonder if they swear you to seacracy? kinda like a cult and then they brand your forearm with a 333 instead of 666 which means your only half evil and the other half of you is disney . lol . jk i have way to much floatin around in my head.

Re: Disney Gallery/Club 33
I will admit though that since DCA now has beer etc in the park, the allure is a bit less...
when we were kids (before the internet) we had heard the rumours about the drinking club but had no confirmation, untill the advent and posting on the internet...
but we did learn early on that drinks were a monorail ride away at the hotel...DCA 1/2 the park, Same low price....

Re: Disney Gallery/Club 33
if you take the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour, they walk you through the lobby and give you the history of the club.
On the note of the gallery, it is a really awsome place. Don't be ashamed if you like it. I don't go everytime i go, but every once in awhile, and i always have fun. it isn't exactly one of those places you go if you are having a very short trip though. Also on that note, I just want to brag and tell everyone I will be sitting in the Disney Gallery balcony for the 10:30 Fantasmic on Sunday! Go me! it was a birthday present to me from my parents. I'm super excited!

Re: Disney Gallery/Club 33
I've never been in the gallery, or club 33... someday i'll go to the gallery (which my mom loved on our trip) and i WILL go to club 33! if only to say i've been just once, and enjoy a nice meal.
