From MousePlanet.com..........
All right, the fish is out of the bag. After six years, Disneyland management is finally nibbling at Imagineering's latest proposal for the long-abandoned Submarine Lagoon: rusting off the fleet to view a CGI Finding Nemo adventure projected into the water........
Here is the rest of the story.http://www.mouseplanet.com/david/dk040817.htm
Not much more on the subs though. Sounds exciting. It sure would be nice to see some motion in that lagoon again.

Re: CGI Subs?
sounds pretty cool, reminds me of Fantasmic technology,(ie: projected animation on water) if done right, this could be incredible.

Re: CGI Subs?
I wish it would take a more serious tone. Underwater projection coupled with the added "in" sub effects. It could be really awesome without the Nemo theme.

Re: CGI Subs?
I interpreted the article to mean that CGI would be projected on the portholes. I don't know why I assumed that. Each porthole would act, in effect, as an individual screen, then the real water would be behind it.

Re: CGI Subs?
I'll be glad to see some added capacity in that lagoon, though preferably not Nemo. But yes, anyway to bring TL to it's former glory days would be great! After that what is needed is a new paint job with lots of white paint, chrome, neon and glass.

Re: CGI Subs?
Michael, in tonight's chat, mention that alot of execs are not liking the brown paint of Tomorrowland. Hopefully we will get a nice new facelift for all of Tomorrowland.

Re: CGI Subs?
well,TL is the only land so far not to receive some paint for the 50th rennovation project, maybe that is due to the fact that they are working on a new paint scheme? intresting

anywho yes I dislike more and more the nemo idea I've pretty much posted on another thread what I think it'll be like it'd be to childish
I really don't want another Character based attraction and I really don't think Nemo (which is a good movie) makes a good theme for an amusment park ride I thought the movie was alright but it's just not thrilling or exciting enough for a theme park ride really (and I don't want DL becoming Toddlerland or Playhouse Disney land)
