ya know, Fairytalelover, maybe you should ask your future father-in-law these questions becuase he would know the answers for sure. Oh, and the reason that she gets in is because when an employee gets a Silver pass, both their name and their spouses name gets put on the pass. And they each get a pass to carry on them. However both passes can't be used on the same day (to get 6 people in).

Re: Do Disney employees get free park tickets?
Hourly Disney Cast Members received "Blue" Main Entrance Admission Passes, which are valid for 16 sign-ins for the year for the number of dependents they have. Three is the default/minimum for most Cast Members, unless otherwise noted.
Salaried Cast Members (or those who have been with the Company for 15 continuous years of service) receive a "Silver" Main Entrance Admission Pass, which are valid for sign-ins for the number of dependents listed on their dependency listing. There is no limit to how many times per year a Silver Passholder may use their Pass. Also, in certain circumstances spouses are given a secondary Silver Pass to use, which both may not be used on the same day.
Main Entrance Admission Passes are valid for admission to the Disneyland Resort Theme Parks, the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks or the Disneyland Resort Paris Theme Parks. Tokyo Disney Resort, which is not owned or operated by the Walt Disney Company, does not participate and details for admission to the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort have yet to be determined.
Cast Members receive a Blue Pass, or a Silver Pass if they are salaried, after their probation period of 3 months is over. Any time before or after this probation period, a Cast Member may sign themselves in to the Park (except for a few busy days) using their Cast Member ID card ony.

DCA is a creative and marketing failure. It's so bad, it's good. That's the unofficial motto of DCA.
