I'd love to see a DisneyQuest there and also a permanent Cirque Du Soleil show- I hate waiting two+ years for their next tour to finally come to OC. It'd also be nice to have a Starbucks there- they have good coffee... big deal that they are a mega chain... I'd rather go to a place with good coffee even if its a mega chain verses some small group of coffee shops with bad coffee. Rubios Baja Grill would be great- definately need more quality places that are inexpensive.
Also, there is this new chain of ice cream shops popping up around So Cal.. one is in Downtown Huntington Beach... another version, not the same chain I think is in Triangle Center... you go there and say "medium strawberry banana" and they make that right infront of you- they take the plane yogurt and add in strawberries and banana- I'd rather have that then the HagenDaz.. the flavor is sooo much better. I just can't remember the name of either chain off hand.

Seth Cohen: It was a liitle weird. And not like kinky weird, more like akward. But hey, you know what? It was my first time, she's a more experienced woman, that's to be expected. But I did make some faces in the middle that I wish I could take back but I can't and there was also a sort of whiny noise that came out at the end that probaly wasn't my finest hour and...I sucked so bad! I was like a fish flopping around on dry land. I was Nemo and I just wanted to go home.

I'm afraid the Southern California market won't support both DisneyQuest and Cirque Du Soleil. Despite the attempt to create a world class resort, DLR is largely a destination for locals.
First, the competition for DisneyQuest is the same people going to The Block and Irvine Spectrum, both locations have Dave & Busters. DisneyQuest will also compete with The ESPN Zone, which has an excellent arcade on the 2nd floor. I'm sure Disney doesn't want to compete with itself.
Second, the crowds that Cirque Du Soleil attracts is the Las Vegas crowd. Las Vegas already has two shows there, "O" and Mystere. A continuous show in California will appear tired and redundant unlike Las Vegas which always sells out.
Despite the DLR expansion, Las Vegas is doing a better job of getting tourists to visit for a few days and seeing their shows and attractions.

COLOR=blue]I dont want that circus thing. I saw it once and was bored stiff. I left during the middle. So i was thinking how about a ice rink or skate rink with proper safty proceders of course.[/COLOR]

I think the idea is to make the area a destination resort, eventually. Whatever it takes to keep people there longer now is what they want to do.
I enjoyed Cirque in WDW, but can't deal with watching clips of it on TV. I think it'd make a pretty good addition. Disney Quest, however, didn't appeal to me very much at all, and as stated, there already is a good enough video arcade in ESPN Zone.
Really, what they could add is something like the Teatro Zinzanni that plays in San Francisco. Something like that might be good. Here's a web page on it:

I honestly think in four years it will be here. I know most of you will brush this off as Darren does not know what's going on at DLR, but I predicted quite a few things that came true with the DLR expansion.
I know Downtown has a lot of growing to do, but I think Disney wil figure it out. Cirque does not suceed without reason in Florida. Disneyquest will probably come too!Darren
