Wow, I thought you have been using Flash all this time...I'm actually learning how to use it, so soon I can make simple drawings of how rides work, if you don't beat me to it Lindemann.

Re: Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin Portable Hole Illusion
I tried learning flash... twice
first I got the trial for flash 4, all the tutorials and guides were for flash 5 or for other reasons didnt match my copy (i used flash 4 because i heard it was better than flash 5), then a few months ago I tried again with mx2004, but all the tutorials were for the previous version, and the first tutorial element had been removed from the program so i got lost fast. It's kind of hard when it tells you to click a button but it's not there, so you google up for a solution and the solution tells you to do some stuff you haven't learned yet, and if you post for help on flash related forums they just tell you to google or use the forum search button, both which end up useless.
right now I'm attempting to learn c++ and if that doesn't go over well I'm going to try to learn how to make models, which may be useful if rct3d allows for custom models (hint hint hint)

Re: Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin Portable Hole Illusion
I found a really good book at the library about using Flash. I forget the name but if you search here for the threads where people were discussing Flash you should find it. It was called the QUICK sTART guide or something.

Actually it's quite simple.. The square door way the car goes through Comes out about maybe a few inches.. the wall on the left gradually bends to the ends of the door way giving the illusion that the wall keeps going when in fact it's just bending with the doorway and since the black portable hole is infront of it it doesn't allow you to see what's behind it.. giving in to the illusion.. . and there is a ring with black clothe around the square doorway the car goes through.. everything is painted black, so unless you pay close attention you wont be able to notice.. sometimes if the light hit's right and you pay close attention.. you can see a square frame coming out of the "portable hole.."
