I had heard awhile ago that in Disneyland there was going to be a hotel/resort INSIDE cinderella's castle. Now, I have never heard anything about this again. I have been searching because I thought that it would be incredible to stay there during my vacation. Was I dreaming or does anyone know anything about this?????

Cinderella's Hotel?

Re: Disneyland Resorts
Dreaming I guess since Sleeping Beauty lives there instead of Cinderella.

No matter which castle it is - it's too small for even one hotel room.
The only hotel "inside" a park is the Grand Californian at DCA. And it's more like attached instead of inside. Perhaps you heard about WESTCOT from a decade ago. It was supposed to have a few hotels located inside the park.

Re: Disneyland Resorts
There's a restaurant inside WDW's Cinderella's Castle, but at DL's Sleeping Beauty, there wouldn't be any room for a restaurant or a hotel.

Re: Disneyland Resorts
yeah they were going to build a larger Cinderellas Castle right next to the Disneyland Hotel but they slashed the budget at the last second  it would've been the flagship for the whole expansion

Re: Disneyland Resorts
Disneyland in California has Sleeping Beauty's Castle and as others have already said, Cidnerella's Castle in Walt Disney World houses a restaurant (oddly enough called King Stephen's (King from Sleeping Beauty)) But anyway... what you might have heard about at the Disneyland resort is the Princess suite in the Disneyland Hotel which is a presidential suite redecorated with actual furniture from the Princess Diaries film. You also get a Princess Diaries 1 DVD and the Princess Diaries 2 soundtrack, last time I heard.

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

Re: Disneyland Resorts
They've fixed the King Stephen's problem. It is now called Cinderella's Royal Table.

Re: Disneyland Resorts
Ah, but Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Scary Adventures, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and Pinocchio's Daring Journey are in the same building as the castle and even appear to be part of it. That's my opinion about it, though.

I think they could fit a very small resturant in there if they wanted to (they could build the kitchen facilities underground and such)

Re: Disneyland Resorts
In Walt Disney World, the dark rides are in seperate buildings. But aerial views of Disneyland show that the Castle has two large wings that extend into Fantasyland that houses the dark rides. It was more obvious before the 1983 redo, when the entrances of the dark rides looked like part of the Castle.
