Hey, I have a few annual pass questions that I can't seem to find the answer to on Disneyland's website.
First, I currently have a Premium pass that expires at the end of the month, I got the renewal thing in the mail a while back with the old prices on it. Can I still use that or are they going to charge me the new prices?
Second, if I were to only get a Deluxe pass, is there a way to buy tickets for blackout dates for less than the normal price would be?
And third, is there such a thing as a one-day parkhopper?
Thanks for any insight y'all can give me.

Re: AP Questions...
if you renew by mail BY the deadline it has on there (the expiration of your current AP date then you'll most likely get the standard renweal discount but it will be from the new prices.

Re: AP Questions...
Just to clarify a bit more...
If you have the renewal notice with the old prices, I would take advantage of it asap-- if you choose to not renew, and let your pass expire, you'll have to pay the full new price to get your new pass. RENEWALS only apply to passes that have not yet expired. And if you plan to renew at the park, make sure you take the notice with you, and ask nicely if they will honor the old prices listed there. I would guess your best bet at the old prices is to renew by mail.
If you renew to a deluxe pass, and would like to visit the park on a blockout day, you can show your AP at the main gate ticket booths and purchase a "Blockout day ticket" which i believe goes for $30 these days. It is valid for you, the passholder, only, and must be used on the day of purchase. (there may be other restrictions as well). The ticket does, however, let you hop between parks.
Yes the advertizing for the 1-day hopper ticket is going strong especially in the local market, but depending on who you are, the price may vary. The full price is $69. So-cal residents pay around $62, and during part of the holiday season, APs can buy "bring a friend" 1-day hopper tickets for the same price as 1-day 1-park tickets. A regular "1-day 1-park" ticket is $49.75. As always, call and ask for the fine print before making plans, theres like a million rules on how and when you can buy and use each of these tickets, and they have days they're not valid, and all that good stuff. But still... hope that helps!

Re: AP Questions...
It says right there on the renewal form that the prices on your by-mail renewal form are good until the expiration date on the form (which is the expiration date of your pass).
