Okay, you know what's coming...how do they do the mirror effect for Snow White's Scary Adventures? It looks pretty convincing, and I've seen pics of the reflection, and it doesn't look like a 2-way mirror either.

Snow White's Scary Adventures Effect killer
In the criminal justice system, sexually-based offenses are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit. These are their stories. *DOINK DOINK*

Moved to the proper forum. Mousellaneous tends to be for things that aren't in the parks, and can't be discussed in the general forum, such as company issues/stocks, things of that nature.

Re: Snow White's Scary Adventures Effect killer
it isnt a mirror, more like a window to a small room on the other side....
2 animitronics and a window positioned to appear like a mirror.Would thou care for some Rofl Waffles?

Re: Snow White's Scary Adventures Effect killer
When Snow first came back from rehab the front animatronic wasn't working, so you got to see how it works. It's basically two syncranized animatronics.

Yes, there is no mirror. The Queen is on one side, the side on which she is "in" the mirror. And the Witch is on the "outside" of the mirror.

Re: Snow White's Scary Adventures Effect killer
I think the Queen's transformation was the first Disneyland special effect I figured out all by myself as a kid. I like knowing how things like that are done...in case I ever want to build something similar myself!
