Over at DisneyForever, they're reporting on their discussion boards that on New Year's Eve, Disneyland gave a small preview of what we have in store for Remember, the new 50th Anniversary fireworks show. It's said that they used bigger shells, many new firework effects, and special music produced by Steve Davison just for the special night. Was anyone down there on New Year's Eve that took pictures or video of the fireworks? Anything would be greatly appreciated!!![]()
- Eric
BTW - Everyone who commented on the show said it was the best fireworks Disney has ever done at Disneyland, most even saying that it was better than Believe!!

Oh, I'm sure one will pop up before the month is done. If not, then, well.... I don't know what to say.

Sorry I don't know where a video is yet, but YES! it was an amazing show! Plenty of fireworks that just kept going and going... it seemed like there was just so many. The show was pretty long to considering how many shells they used.
I hope that was at least a little preview for what's to come for the 50th. We'll just have to wait and see.

How crowded was Disneyland that night. I was over at California Adventure watching their poor excuse for fireworks. They used recycled music from Lights Camera Action!

Re: New Year's Eve 2004
Did you notice if they used bigger shells (i.e. - higher up and larger) and were there any neat shells that really stood out? Thanks!

Re: New Year's Eve 2004
Well, thanks to the beautiful rain, the crowds were very fair. Each attraction was not more than 30-45 minutes long, with exception of Splash Mountain and Indiana Jones both 85 minutes or longer, but I rather enjoyed that day.

Too bad they didn't have fireworks shooting out from the Matterhorn, nor did they have a flashing 2005 sign at the top of the Matterhorn like they've done before. Oh well, it was truly worth it to spend New Years at Disneyland.

Re: New Year's Eve 2004
Hmm....that's different than what they said over at DF. They said that the music was produced by Steve Davison just especially for the NYE show. Maybe they didn't mean that they wrote new music for the show, and that they just had Steve Davison supervise the production of the show's music.
