I'd love to audition for this! I used to be in WDW Entertainment, and I really miss it. Unfortunately, it's a long drive from San Diego, and I can only work Thursdays and weekends because of class.![]()

Screw Florida! Work at Disneyland!!!
Nothing against you personally at all, but almost all of Florida's entertainment was absolutely awful. I didn't think a parade could be worse than POTS, but Share a Dream Come True proved me wrong. And the ten-year-old Beauty and the Beast show? What was that?! And I'm sorry, anyone who says MGM's Fantasmic is the greatest show ever has obviously never been to Disneyland.
Sorry for this rant, but just the very thought of WDW Entertainment makes me (as well as a lot of my friends) VERY bitter... All the money seems to go only to Walt Disney World, yet their stuff is still crap.

Although I know several wonderfully talented people who have worked in WDW's entertainment department, you're not the first i've heard to express a sentiment like that, Tweedldum. I personally am a florida virgin, so I can't comment really. I hope when I go (eventually I'll have to make it out there) I'll be able to compare for myself.

Re: AUDITION FOR "PARADE OF DREAMS" AND "BLOCK PARTY"!!!
Totally. In most cases, it's not the fault of the performers, but rather the fact that the shows are crappy from the start.
Although I did see lots of bad performers and singers when I was there...

Wow, i was planning on auditioning to be an atmosphere face character when i am 17 in a year. The fact that they hire 16 year olds in the parade department is exciting discovery. Unfortunately I miss the "16 by the 15th" limit by 5 days. Do you think there is any chance of an exception? Silly question I'm sure..... "NO" .....lol

^ Yeah the 16 year old discovery rocks! I'm old enough since I'll be 17 in March
I hope things work out for you, who knows, maybe you will get an exception

I rather enjoyed the Share A Snowglobe Parade. I just saw it on Thurs, and I thought it was beautiful and rather enchanting. The tributes to Walt (hidden throughout) were especially neat. Though they didn't do any performance stops.
If I was going to school in CA, I would be all over these auditions.

Re: AUDITION FOR "PARADE OF DREAMS" AND "BLOCK PARTY"!!!
I agree that the WDW entertainment is terrible. I was shocked at how horrible it was when I went out there a few years ago and just as disappointed this past visit. The holiday parade was a joke compared to Disneyland. Alice in Wonderland looked about 30 years old...and many other characters were just as bad. I don't understand why the shows are done so poorly out there. I have never seen the snowglobe parade, so I can not comment on that. However, overall, entertainment at WDW has a much lower standard than at Disneyland.

I didn't know block party was a parade. I thought it was just gonna be characters breaking out in a party by you at random times throught the day. This makes me happy. I 'm glad it is a parade. Im glad they are putting some money into DCA.
