    ASIMO in Tomorrowland

    Honda's sponsorship of Disneyland events was mentioned in yesterday's OC Register. As part of the 10-year deal, besides sponsoring the upcoming 50th anniversary fireworks, as well as Grad Nites (that's a first, I think), the article mentions they are working on a deal to bring ASIMO—Honda's advanced humanoid robot—to a new exhibit in Tomorrowland.

    Yeah, that's been a done deal for a while. The robot will be part of an all new Honda display in Inoventions. Work is ongoing for the set pieces.

    So is this one of the major additions to Innoventions that have been mentioned recently? I was lucky enough to see ASIMO at his visit to Epcot in July. Let me tell you, if Disney and Honda teamed up to make Audio-Animatronics, you would be left speechless.

    I have seen ASIMO too at the HONDA showrooms here in Tokyo. He, rather IT, is pretty awesome. Interesting though, that HONDA is not a sponsor at Tokyo Disney Resort. Nissan has the automotive sponsor monopoly at the Parks.

    if the made one it most certainly wouldn't have Audio and I'm not sure how much of an Animatronic it would be

    just poking at the fact that technicaly not even Disney uses Audio Animatronics anymore because the audio tech is dated
