I was just checking out the calendar at the Disneyland site and I noticed that they have a new fireworks show (TBA) scheduled at 9:25 pm during spring break at the end of March. I had thought that there weren't going to be any fireworks until May 5. Does any one have more information about this. Thanks. Cheers,

Re: New Fireworks Show
It litteraly says: 9:25pm New Fireworks Show (TBA)
amazing to me that they would leave an unnanounced item on the public website... interesting.

Re: New Fireworks Show
My guess, they will quickly make a new soundtrack using the current Disney music library. I seriously doubt they will use the Remember soundtrack, as they want to "premiere" that on May 5th.
Now, I expect they will test out some of the new fireworks effects in the show during spring break.
The show will be nightly from March 18th thru April 3rd.Check out my photos at http://darkbeer.smugmug.com

Re: New Fireworks Show
Interesting. They made Imagine for the short run...now it looks like there doing the same thing.

Re: New Fireworks Show
Heck, they might even use the Imagine soundtrack....
With new computer software, it is real easy to come up with a fireworks show (if you well versed on the software). Pick your music, and then choose the shells, and the software actually shows you how it looks on the screen....
They have moved some of the firing placements backstage, so they would have to redo the firing schedule (which is easy with the software.) And they could add some of the new shells and firing locations...
But they might want a new soundtrack, to make sure people don't expect the same show as last summer. Heck, they might even use less shells than Imagine... it would help to make Remember look bigger than what it is when it debuts in May...
Only Time will tell...Check out my photos at http://darkbeer.smugmug.com

Re: New Fireworks Show
I agree; they might use it to test out new effects for "Remember... Dreams Come True." Do you think they might not use the "Imagine" soundtrack because they are calling it the "new fireworks show"? Or would just setting different fireworks to that same music make it different enough to call it "new"?

Re: New Fireworks Show
It makes more sense to me for them to run the show with the Remember... soundtrack. Like a true preview. That way if they find audience reaction to certain areas to be lacking, they can tighten it up before opening.
Anyone remember when the Parade of the Stars opened with Pomp and Circumstance? That got the boot rather quickly. Yeah, Eisner is sure in touch with what people want.
