    Wally is explaining who wrote many of the jokes and the style of humor it was intentionally written in.

    I would say that the only thing that may be slightly dated about the Tiki room is the caricatures that the birds represent. Probably the jokes work as well as they ever did, but some of the impersonations may be lost on little kids or those so culturally deprived as to not recognize the archetypes, if not the specific performers being spoofed.
