also I think there is a deffinate connection. check out a house that someones smoked in there is a deffinate tar buildup (my family runs appartments when people break the rules I've seen appartments turn a pretty bad yellow) you can also get a great illustartion from a computer, since computers circulate almost all the air in a room through themselves you tend to get the most buildup inside of em and computers have diffnatly recieved a good amount of tar buildup from being in a room were somebody smokes (I work with alot of network admins and have seen proof) I would say from all of that there is a pretty good liklyhood that people could also breath that in (and we already know that there are problems with smoking directly) if you want to argue that it's not as bad as smoking directly or sitting in the smoke of a largue fire then that's another story
moving back to the topic of theme parks I think Disney manages this as best as they possibly can
they keep smokers out of the way of other people and allow them a nice location to saftly do their thing and be on with life. I have not heard much about people being poked at for being in a smoking area or that they're all off by themselves and miserable (heck I hardly notice this at all in the parks but then again I'm not an APer)

I've had to open up a smoker's computer to do maintenance and there was tar everywhere. Covering the mother board, clogging the fans... Ugh, it was disgusting

I think secondhand smoke is bad for your health. I think it smells bad. It does make me cough. After living with my grandfather for three years, I developed a cough that I am afraid I am always going to have. It does make me and with no doubt, others, sick. What proof is there that it isn't bad for your health? I think the whole "secondhand smoke is okay" is a whole pile of crap. Try living with someone who smokes all day long, then we'll see how that theory works out, because I can tell that that whole "secondhand smoke is okay" thing was started by the tobacco industry. I think it's sad that people would rather endanger themselves and others instead of trying to quit. It may be hard to quit, but they have GOT to try to quit.

If I see someone smoking outside of a designated area, I rat on them every time.
There are thousands of caves in America. Many of them unexplored - even today. Here is a labyrinth of secret tunnels...colorful strata and curious fossils...A hiding place for buried treasure...stalagmites form fantastic shapes...and eerie sounds sometimes echo through the silent rooms.

I don't understand all of the anti-smoking sentiment. Why are people freaking out about tobacco at Disneyland when they inhale unabated gasoline fumes on the Autopia? How about the Diesel smoke from the train?
Get a life and leave us smokers alone!* * * *

^ Because Autopia fumes aren't nearly as bad as they were before 2000, and the steam train gives off steam, not smoke. Steam is condensed water.

Steam trains use a broiler to heat up the water to produce the steam. A very heated fire fueled by coil is needed to bring the water to a steam to create the pressure needed to drive the shafts. Due to the broiler there is more than just steam that is emitted from a steam engine locomotive.
