I don't know if this is true, but I heard from a friend that Bill Gates rented out DCA for his employees.

When my husband went to a computer convention at Anaheim Convention Center (I think it was for Borland), they had one evening where the convention attendees got to go to DCA after the park was closed. Only the Pier and a couple rides were included, tho. They also got free popcorn, churros and drinks! So, yep, for a price, parts of the parks can be rented.
I remember back in 1987 or 1988, my dad worked for Rockwell. They had Rockwell night at DL. We got to buy tix for a special party where the park was only opened to Rockwell employees, friends and family. Itw was awesome. I think all of the rides were working. I think we got to stay from 7 pm to 1 am or something like that. We got to do alot in that short amount of time, tho since the lines were short. I wonder if they still do such things?Terry - Proud SAHM to three boys and a girl!

I know for weddings and receptions they rent out certain areas in both DL and DCA. I know that the castle forecourt, Animation building, and Tower of Terror can be rented for sure.

Do they still hadve the Grad Nite for the high schoolers in Southern California? I'm sure that requires some special coordination, if it still happens.

I know when I was a kid I went to the parks on specific nights that were open only to some local unions
ostal, police , firemen.. I wonder if the park was rented then or just a time that union members could get discounted tickets. Do the parks still have these type of events...?

well big companies do have special events and private parties at the parks fairly frequently. usually in evening into the late hours, or very early in the morning. It happens, and you don't have to be Bill Gates to do it, but you do you have to be pretty rich still. I don't have any specifics on how to arrange it and i have no interest in organizing my own event, because i don't have that kind of money.

Someone should just call, and act like they know what they are doing.
