    Instead of changing the spiel they should have just torn the thing down.

    ::sarcasm::

    I liked it too, but big deal guys.

    Very true. That was the reason of the moment.

    Argh, this makes me sad. That was always my dad's favorite spiel! At least I have the sound clip.

    Dude, stop hanging around graveyards. It's sick.
    He is probably thinking about Corey Burton, the voice of Disneyland now (the tram guy, the monorail guy, Captain Hook).

    Actually, Corey Burton refused to do the newest safety spiel on the Haunted Mansion. Below is part of an interview with Corey about the new safety spiel and a link to the rest of the story.

    Regarding the new Doom Buggy spiel to keep your arms, legs, and other appendages inside the car at all times— why didn't you do it?

    It is against my principles to mess with any great masterpiece of art; and no matter how convincing an illusion I might come up with, side by side with the original it would still sound 'bogus'. I also felt... http://www.doombuggies.com/insiders_burton2.htm

    If you insist on lagging behind, you may not need to volunteer.

    Exactly. Even with the "old" spiel on the Matterhorn, some people still try to get out of their bobsled before it arrives at the unloading platform. I mean, come on people, you think they would make everyone get out on that small narrow walkway? Geez!

    I mean, that's why thay have to install Air-Gates at the loading platform now, because people are too stupid to know why Cast Members tell you to stay BEHIND the yellow-safety line, so the gates do it for them.

    Is the one at the end of the current Autopia the voice of Jack Wagner? The sound quality on it is very old sounding.

    I hate these freakin' spiels. They have cameras in all the attractions, why can't they just yell over the PA if someone tries to get out?

    I don't even notice the spiels. I have enough common sense.

    "Caution drivers, prepare to stop. You are approaching the unloading area."

    That was added a couple years after the new Autopia opened, and sounds like a new spiel on a crappy speaker. It's definitely not Wagner
