    Post Memory Bricks

I was wondering how you can purchase a memory brick to be placed at the new California Park?

Any and all replies on this subject welcome!

Also can you still buy bricks for Disney World in Florida?

    Cool

I thought there was a cart at the enterance area (just outside Dland entry gate) that offered those. I'll check again as the enterance area has widened up since they moved the barricades back much closer to the DCA enterance gates. Well gee, that wasn't much help....

Thanks pirate. If you check again see if there is an e-mail or phone # to call. I live out of the Dland area,

Yeah, I've thought of it but have never gotten the chance to fork over the cash! I don't think it's worth it, well my opinion!

I can't help but think it makes you a part of Disney history. When you are dead and gone a brick with your name will still be gracing Disneyland!!

For the kind of money they want, I could get an AP for a year, and leave my "tracks" all over DL! And as for having it still be there when you are dead and gone, I wonder. Disney has a way of changing things, and who knows when they decide to use that area for something else and the bricks get removed??? If I spend that kind of money on a disney souvineer, I want to keep it with me so I know it will last, hehehe. But I can see if money is no object to a person, where it would be a cool thing.

Word up Eeyore! Besides there are a lot of ways to be remembered in disney history, not that it should be important. I think the best way is to either work or contribute to the Disney legacy, rather than buying a brick that might not even be there after a few years.

Could someone tell me what exactly a Memory Brick is, and how much it costs? From what you have been saying it sounds interesting, but i don't know exactly what this is.

I personally thought they were cool. My best friend and I bought one, so we're splitting the costs. Disney agrees to replace and take care of the brick for the first 10 years. After that, they don't have to. You can buy mini-souvenirs of your brick and such. *I* think it's a cool idea and I decided it was worth my money. For the next ten years my name will be a permanent part of Disneyland. Over the next ten years I also hope to get married and maybe start a family... it would be cool to show the people I love that my name is IN Disney ground. Plus, you go and take your picture by it and you've got a great photo for the album... maybe it won't be there in 15 years, but for now, I'm making history! :-)
